I like the warm and cool contrasts between these two in the top panel. Brand coming into his spiritual own is pretty awesome too. Man...such a long, angst-ridden road to get here...
I have been reading this comic since sometime in 2004. I'm typically very quiet, lurking in the shadows.
When I first started reading SoG I was reading it for the plot, not the artwork. As the plot progressed the art got continually better I could really see Rone grow as an artist, not just as a story teller. These past few pages are testament to the fact that although I still enjoy the plot, I am now reading it for the art. Beautifully done.
