Page 111 - Priorities

Hans = Holden Caulfield.

I realized this recently. Now that he's growing out of it.

Blech. I always disliked Catcher in the Rye. I've come to understand that it's a book of male adolescence.

Being female, it now makes sense that I couldn't relate.

I really don't want to say this but the disparity in the size of Hans' wings is driving me nuts!! Perhaps if the angelic wing weren't so skinny...

It bothered me too, actually, but I decided that wings on people don't make sense anyway. So I just left it alone.

I dunno. They're mostly just made of loosely bound energy rather than matter right? That should make them a lot lighter and make it easier to fly. Then a gain the whole setting doesn't make sense from a scientific viewpoint, so that's license to do whatever you damn well want to.

Also Catcher in the Rye was a terrible book and you should not feel bad for disliking it.
