XD Frankly...I still like Hans but man that was an incredibly stupid move. Reminds me what a kid does when his brother has the remote. Better a broken remote than let your brother have it. Poor Brand *hugs him better*
I don't know.... I somehow get the feeling that, perhaps, we're misjudging Mist. Who said it was inherently evil? Pissed off perhaps... but so far, harsh as the Mist-dreams have been, they've each carried a lesson for those stuck within it. Grey let her darkest desires take complete control and hurt the ones around her, and her dream was ______. And it didn't seem to end until she had learned her lesson, and then she faded away. It may not have been Hans's strength of character or willpower that stopped him being destroyed by Mist, it might have been his complete unwillingness to learn. Ever. No matter what. Because he's a jerk like that.
By "Who said it was inherently evil?" I didn't mean that as a rhetorical question. So far our only Mist expert to speak up on the topic is Hans, and frankly we've seen him lie to EVERYONE about so many other things I wouldn't say it's a stretch to say he's such a pathological liar that he even lies to himself on a regular basis.

So, will this kill Brand? And my big question is, is this even the real Brand? Or just some figment created by Mist to torture Hans?
My worry is that Hans will ultimately not learn anything...
If it is still a Mist than is double torture for both Hans and Brand.
