Update's a little late today, but I have a good reason! I made PANTS! They're awesome. I took some photos so you could see why the update is late. Is my fashion sense in real life as odd as in my comic? You decide!
ALSO updated the podcast with a new RWR. Khan and I sit down and discuss the true nature of villainy. What defines a villain? What sets a quality villain apart from a poor villain? How could the bounds of villain definition be pushed? What do we conclude (or not)? Listen to the most recent RWR to find out!
Finally, regarding this page, I'm not sure that it says exactly what I wanted to say. I don't want to SAY what I wanted it to say, because it might ACTUALLY say what I thought it would. Or it could make people completely miss the point. So I'll wait and see what it says to YOU before I say what I meant it to say from ME.

I think with the random squeezing of the...something...Hans is controlling Brand to get what he wants since he has Brand's heart?
I might be totally wrong...but is that Brand's heart in there? Would explain the moment with the heartbeat...and the sudden change in Brand's demeanor...*Gah* *headdesk* What do you think you're doing Hans? If you're manipulating him...that's not going to make things betterr!
These last few pages are so fantastic! They're really pulling at my emotions...which is an awesome sign~
I think it depicts exactly what you want to get across... I think. XD And if I'm seeing it right, it's deliciously creepy. One of the reasons I love Hans is that his own views on love are really twisted- although they make perfect sense when you look at it from his point of view. Poor lad.
I thought personally it wasint Brands heart, more like it was a knife or somthing and he sensed her was going to get the ole staby stab and changed how he was acting so Hans would let his guard down and think twice about stabbing Brand.
Funky pants by the way, they are a must wear :D i would love to design my own gear but i suck at sewing at cellotape is not good for holding things together :D
I love the pants! Also, Hans' hesitation before he says, "I love you too," is very interesting. Could it mean that he realizes that what he is showing Brand is not so much 'love' as pride in ownership?
Just as a note, the second panel is hard to read at first. It took me a minute to realize he was squeezing the belt pocket thingy.
Doesn't he keep Brand's heart there? It looks kind of like he's squeezing it to get the response he wants from Brand, or to make Brand feel like those are the right words to say with that squeezing of his heart. So yeah, I think you got it across. =)
Man, I love the pants. I'd wear a style like that. I'm looking forward to listening to the new RWR. =D
Well...my first response was along the line of the others as in 'omg he's using Brand's heart to control him!' though I suppose it could just be a reassurance twitch on Hans' part.
I particularly love the last panel, especially the small hesitation.
Just an extra note...just noticed this isn't the first time Hans has had his hand round the bag. It was there when Brand smiled at him, and when they kissed...though the last panel makes it harder to work out if the same is true in the last panel of that page. Ah well, something more for me to think about!
